About Dance Academy
Dance Academy Cambodia is a professional dance school made up of two distinct organisations:
Russian Ballet Cambodia - ensuring quality dance and particularly ballet education through continued accreditation and review from Russian Ballet Society UK
Dance Social Cambodia - experienced and well-respected founders of social dance instruction in Cambodia
Dance Academy Cambodia has a modern, beautiful and fully equipped airconditioned studio in the heart of Phnom Penh in BKK1 district where dance classes are held. DAC also partnered with Chanson Education Center at Rattana Plaza to provide the same quality dance classes to students living in Sen Sok area.
In addition, Dance Academy Cambodia offers tailor-made dance programmes for schools and educational institutions to help enrich their extra-curricular offerings. The school also has an outreach programme that ensures that the benefits of dance reach children in less priviledged parts of our community by providing low-cost programmes and workshops.
Our aim is to grow a new generation of strong, technical, and versatile dancers by providing the best possible dance training and opportunities to perform to people in Phnom Penh.
In order to create strong dancers, a major focus of our school is classical ballet. The training we provide is the Legat System of classical ballet instruction in the Russian Style, which is a free flowing style with a strong basic technique, logical and constructive in execution. It develops in the student a performance quality through the ever varied enchainements.
Dance Academy Cambodia offers students the possibility to take accredited examinations.
